Scarifier Equipment

The process of concrete scarifying is completed with a concrete scarifier. This process is used for purposes such as heavy duty surface preparation, heavy removal of concrete, asphalt, thermo-plastic lines, paints, coatings, trowel marks, curled joints, sidewalk trip hazards, etc.

Scarifier Cutters

A scarifier is equipped with a drum that is equipped with steel, carbide (TCT) or Full Face™ carbide tipped cutters. The scarifier drum is loaded onto a center shaft, which rotates the drum in a circular motion. As the drum is in motion the equipped scarifier cutters will begin to penetrate the surface of the concrete. The depth at which the scarifier can cut is adjusted until the desired finish is achieved.
